Dying Light 2: How to Get to the Developer Room

How to Get to the Developer Room in Dying Light 2

First of all, it is highly suggested that you complete the story mission Broadcast before attempting to reach the developer room. It isn’t 100% necessary, but I guarantee you’ll be in for a world of headache if you don’t. Now, once you have, head over to the VNC Tower and work your way to the top, which can be done through one of the elevators inside, this will be a long elevator ride, so be ready to wait a good minute before making it to the top. Once there, head over to the southwest end of the building and look for the skyscraper with blue windows. You can also pull out your binoculars and spot the military airdrop located on the top of the building if that’s easier. In the end, you should end up at the position on the map shown above.

Once on top, you’ll have some descending to do. Right next to the generator on top of the building, you’ll find a rope to take a certain distance. For this first one, you’ll want to head off the plank on the east and make your way down through the broken windows. As soon as you’re in the first one, jump off again and make it into the second. In here will be a socket, which you can put the rope into to complete the first loop. On the opposite side of this floor is another rope, in which you’ll repeat the process. Grab it, head off the plank down two different broken windows, then plug it into the available socket. On this floor will be another rope, but this time you’re wanting to head down to the second terrace instead of the broken window. So simply get down to the first one safely, then the second.

Here you’ll find the final socket, which will be next to a defense terminal. Plug it in, then interact with the defense terminal. This will allow you to open up the double doors next to it, getting you into the developer room!

Dying Light 2 is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
