What happened as Dalton Mill used for Peaky Blinders filming goes up in flames in Keighley

Dalton Mill in Keighley has been engulfed by flames this afternoon with more than 100 firefighters tackling the blaze.

The Dalton Mill Complex in Dalton Lane, used as a filming location for BBC drama Peaky Blinders, has gone up in flames with fire crews called just after 12pm.

Fire appliances from across West Yorkshire have been dispatched to deal with the blaze.

What happened as Dalton Mill used for Peaky Blinders filming goes up in flames in Keighley

A large plume of black smoke can be seen rising above buildings in the area and residents have been advised to keep doors and windows closed.

Fire crews are also being supported by Yorkshire Ambulance Service 's Hazardous Area Response Team.

It is reported several roads nearby have been closed.
